Memories

I remember SO much from my childhood, it's nuts! My mom told me to write down my memories, but I'm going to post them for now! They'll be completely random, and probably not make sense to ANYONE except for me and maybe my family.

I remember when I was TINY I wanted a piece of candy out of dad's candy jar in the entry way! I remember he walked over to the jar and told me that there wasn't any candy left! I KNEW THERE WAS!! I remember that SO well, and now I have PROOF that my dad LIED to me!!! Guess what? We have a VIDEO of it! It's so weird, too, because I remember being really small and wanting candy. I remember seeing him from MY angle, not the camera's. THERE WAS TOTALLY A PIECE OF PEANUT BUTTER CANDY IN THERE! It was one of those chewy peanut butter taffy candies that's wrapped in that orange paper stuff. BUSTED!

I remember being really little. I was very sick-I don't know what was wrong with me-but my family and I went to, I think, my Grammy's house. For some reason when I think of this memory-I think of lots of trees. Anyway, a lot of family was there. Someone put me in a big, giant bed. I think it was Christmas because some of the people in my family brought me a bunch of presents. I thought that they did it because I was sick. I remember someone either making me, or trying to make me drink prune juice. YUCK!

When my brother, Aeric, and I were little we ALWAYS dumped out our toys all over the back of the house as soon as we woke up in the morning. We always got in trouble and had to clean it up as soon as my mom saw it. I remember waking up one morning and my mom was SO happy. My brother and I were standing in front of her and she was squatting (I guess we were pretty tiny) and she was smiling. I think she said something like "Wow, who cleaned the house?"I was pretty proud.

I remember one night I wanted to sleep in my brother's room with him. I didn't want to be alone.
So I got my pillow and blanket and I hid in his closet. My dad found me, and I'm pretty sure him and mom talked to me about never hiding from them.

One time my brothers and sister (before Sophie was born I believe) wanted to put on a "play" for mom and dad. I remember getting my swimming suit on and I leaned forward and "whipped my hair back and forth." Then Aeric helped me put on a church dress over the swimming suit, and I would get up and announce the next thing that we were gonna do in the "play" :D

Speaking of the church dress. I still remember that dress, and I remember once we went to have our pictures done. Wow. Then the previous memory was even before my first little sister was born. Guess I forgot that! Maybe that wasn't the same dress. But it HAD to be!
Anyway, I remember getting the pictures taken because I think I was cranky and my Aunt Fawn was signing "no" to me. I remember they had a Barney doll that they were using to try and make us laugh.

Just a little Christmas hint: I WANT ONE OF THESE AGAIN SO BAD!!!!!

One time my dad was laying down on the floor with his pillows playing video games on the super nintendo. Oh, I miss playing on the nintendo! He had his daily glass of kool-aid by his side. The neighbor girl, Heather France, came over. She was a few years older than me, but I loved to play house with her! I guess for some reason I was embarrassed to ask her to come play with me in front of my dad, so I leaned over and whispered and asked her. That's my first memory of a PET PEEVE I have! How funny, right? One of my biggest pet peeves is when I'm trying to be quiet or secretive about something, and the person I'm talking to 1. responds back really loud and obvious-like or 2. asks me "what?" really loud.
Haha! Heather started it :D I miss her.

One last memory that I'm going to write about is one time my brother, Aeric, and I woke up earlier than my parents.....as usual.
He had what I think was a Sonic cup...I could be wrong, but that's how I remember it.
All I knew is that I wanted one too, and he told me that if I wanted it I had to go across the yard to our friend's house and get one.
It's a pretty big yard back there, and I wasn't allowed to leave without permission.
ESPECIALLY while my parents were asleep. Aeric watched me walk out the door and walk to their house. I don't remember what I did when I got there, but I do know that Aeric then went to tattle on me for going to Logan's house. Pretty sure I got in some big trouble!
